TerraFina Landworks is a residential landscape design-build studio committed to helping homeowners cultivate their life outdoors. Based in Raleigh, NC, we work throughout the Triangle region, designing and installing spaces that our clients are excited to occupy.
We were founded on the idea that a good garden can make a house a home. Whether it’s creating a backyard oasis or maximizing your curb appeal, we bring years of horticultural knowledge and design experience to making your visions a reality.
After a decade of creating and building outdoor spaces for himself and others, Hays Johnson founded TerraFina Landworks in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has worked on projects ranging from sprawling estates to verdant urban hideaways, across the state. Hays founded TerraFina Landworks with the goal of bringing the best in horticultural knowledge, design trends, and customer service to homeowners at a reasonable price. Raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, he now resides in Raleigh with his wife, two kids, and two dogs.
Hays is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, a licensed landscape contractor, a NCNLA Certified Plant Professional, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Design and Horticulture from North Carolina State University.
